Is it crazy to premiere 20+ new pieces for violin and cimbalom in a seven month time span? Announcing Lamnth Season 3! Five portrait concerts, residencies at the New England Conservatory and Boston Conservatory, and the spookiest new-music hang of the year.

The season kicks off this Sunday at 8pm in Jordan Hall, featuring six new works by NEC students as well as the premiere of Ozz by Judith Berkson, one of our LamnthLab 2024/2025 winners. Speaking of which, we are also happy to announce the selected composers for LamnthLab 2025/2026!

This year we had 350+ applicants, and it was an honor beyond belief to hear so much amazing music from all over the world. We can’t wait to start working with Njabulo Phungula of Durban, South Africa and Heather Stebbins of Washington DC.
